Thank you for looking at my campaign website.

I am running to serve on Houston's City Council.  I want to serve my community in District G which runs from River Oaks to Westchase and West Oaks along I-10, Memorial, Briar Forest, Westheimer and Richmond to Westpark and Harwin.   It is where Roxanne and I live and where we are raising our son.

Most of you are already aware that I serve on the Houston Community College Board of Trustees.  It has been an honor to serve there.  However, the changes that are taking place in the City of Houston have compelled me to decide to run for City Council.  I am excited for the challenge and I am up to the task.

I am so pleased to have the support of Roxanne and my family in the endeavor.

Roxanne and I care deeply about the area in which we live.  We have seen how the issues that concern the city are affecting people's everyday lives.  People fear for their public safety while in their neighborhoods, homes and workplaces.  The traffic congestion adds stress and anxiety, and we need to look to relieve both by being forward looking as we work together on city council.

I want to be a city councilman that reflects the needs of the people that I serve and I will do so by listening and carrying the concerns of my constituents to the city council meetings.  It is my hope that this website, my Facebook page, and Twitter will help to facilitate a working relationship with you, the voter. Please feel free to ask questions, make comments and be a part of the progress that is coming to our community.

A campaign of this size takes resources for block-walking materials, this website, campaign signs, direct mailings, t-shirts and bumper stickers.  So, it is with excitement that I ask you to help me launch this campaign.   Please sign up to volunteer or contribute.  Together we will make District G a better, safer and more prosperous place for us all.

Thank you for your support.
